1. Non-Immigrant Visa Category "O"

Period of stay:	no longer than 90 days
Validity of visa:	90 days
Extension:	An application for extension or Re-Entry Permit (Single or Multiple entries) can be submitted at the immigration office in Thailand
Visa Fee:	80 CHF (single entry) / 185 CHF (multiple entries)
Required documents:	1.1 Voluntary work with government agency/state enterprise (without salary) (O1-1) 1.2 Voluntary work with foundation or association registered in Thailand (without salary) (O1-2) 1.3 Voluntary work with foreign foundation or association with permission to operate in Thailand (without salary) (O1-3) 1.4 Retirement (pensioner aged over 50 with state pension) (O2) 1.5 Thai nationals who abandoned their Thai citizenship (O3) 1.6 Medical treatment (longer than 60 days) (O4) 1.7 To be a contestant or a witness for the judicial process (O5) 1.8 Diplomat's housekeeper (O6) 1.9 Staying with non-Thai family residing in Thailand (more than 60 days) (O7) 1.10 Staying with Thai family residing in Thailand (more than 60 days) (O8)

2. Non-Immigrant Visa Category "B" (Work & Business Visas)

Period of stay:	no longer than 90 days
Validity of visa:	90 days
Extension:	An application for an extension or Re-Entry Permit (Single or Multiple entries) can be submitted at the immigration office in Thailand
Visa Fee:	80 CHF (single entry) / 185 CHF (multiple entries)
Required documents:	2.1 Employment (B1) 2.2 Business visit (B2) 2.3 Internship (non-curricular internship) (B4) 2.4 E mployed as an academic staff/ teacher (B5) 2.5 Sport-related activities (trainer/ coach/ instructor/ etc. )(B6) 2.6 Sport personnel (authorized by Sport Authority of Thailand only)(B7) 2.7 Employment in a company registered under the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI) (IB1) 2.8 Business visit at a company registered under the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI) (IB2) 2.9 Employed as an academic staff/teacher in Thailand (BOI) (IB3)

3. Non-Immigrant Visa Category "B" (Frequent business visit) (B3)

Period of stay:	no longer than 90 days
Validity of visa:	3 years (multiple entries)
Extension:	An application for an extension or Re-Entry Permit (Single or Multiple entries) can be submitted at the immigration office in Thailand
Visa Fee:	350 CHF
Required documents:	Frequent business visit (3 years)

4. Non-Immigrant Visa Category "ED" (Study visit and training)

Period of stay:	no longer than 90 days
Validity of visa:	90 days (single entry)
Extension:	An application for an extension or Re-Entry Permit (Single or Multiple entries) can be submitted at the immigration office in Thailand
Visa Fee:	80 CHF (single entry)
Required documents:	4.1 To study (elementary – secondary level) (ED1) 4.2 To study (vocational, teachnical and university diploma below bachelor's degree) (ED2) 4.3 To study (bachelor's degree and higher) (ED PLUS) 4.4 To study a short course (Thai or English language) / attend Muay Thai Training (ED3) 4.5 To attend workshop, training, or seminar organized by government agency or foreign mission and international organization in Thailand (ED4) 4.6 Monk/ nun/ priest to study Dharma in Thailand (ED5) 4.7 Curricular internship or Exchange student (ED6)

5. Long stay for foreigners aged over 50 (O-A)

Eligible applicants:	Swiss nationality or permanent resident of Switzerland (holder of permit C) /Liechtenstein aged over 50
Period of stay:	1 year (multiple entries)
Validity of visa:	1 year
Visa Fee:	185 CHF
Extension:	Possible for 1 year every year. An application with one of the Thai participating insurance certificates can be submitted for an extension or Re-Entry Permit (Single or Multiple entries) at the immigration office in Thailand.
Required documents:	Long Stay O-A

6. Long stay (10 years) for foreigners aged over 50 and family (O-X)

Eligible applicants:	Nationals aged over 50 of the following countries, including spouses and children aged under 20 years old: Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and the USA
Period of stay:	5 years (multiple entries)
Validity of visa:	5 years
Visa Fee:	350 CHF
Extension:	Possible for another 5 years. An application with one of the Thai participating insurance certificates can be submitted for an extension or Re-Entry Permit (Single or Multiple entries) at the immigration office in Thailand.
Benefits / Conditions:	- Can work as a volunteer (following the list of volunteer work as stipulated by the Department of Employment) - Can purchase vehicles (under the provision of laws on motor vehicles). - Can purchase a condominium (proceed by the Condominium Act).

7. Non-Immigrant Visa Cetegory "M" (Media & Film Crew Visas)

Eligible applicants:	- Must be affiliated with or employed by a credible and reliable media entity. The said media entity must be duly registered with the competent authority in Thailand or abroad for a minimum of 6 months at the time of submission of the visa application. - Employed solely as a media professional without engaging in other occupations during the entire period of stay in the Kingdom of Thailand - Discharge media duties in the Kingdom of Thailand for a minimum of 90 days and produce a minimum of 10 reports per annum about Thailand or the region - Must not have previously made any coverage or behaved in such a way that would constitute a threat to society, public order, and public safety, nor have been a wanted individual per arrest warrant of a foreign government - Must not have a previous record of providing false information on a visa application

Extension:	Possible up-to-work contract or assignment. An application for an extension or Re-Entry Permit (Single or Multiple entries) can be submitted at the immigration office in Thailand.

Required document:	7.1 Media/Press based in Thailand (M1) 7.2 Film crew (having purpose of producing a film, motion picture or advertisement (M2)

8. Non-Immigrant "F" (holders of an ordinary passport for an official mission)

Period of stay:	No longer than 90 days
Validity of visa:	90 days (single entry)
Extension:	Possible up-to-work contract or assignment. An application for an extension or Re-Entry Permit (Single or Multiple entries) can be submitted at the immigration office in Thailand.
Visa Fee:	80 CHF
