CRIMINAL RECORD OBTAIN FROM THAILAND FOR APPLICANT WHO HAS SWISS CITIZENSHIP OR RESIDENCE PERMIT IN SWITZERLAND

The applicant residing in Switzerland can obtain a hard copy of fingerprints at:
(A) a local police authority
or
(B) the Royal Thai Embassy in Bern.



(A) Getting fingerprints at a Local Police Authority

      1. Fill out the application formtwo (2) forms of taking fingerprints, and a testimony memorandum at a local police authority. The documents must be completed with the official seal and signature of the official taking the fingerprints.

      2. Arrange supporting documents. A list
 of required documents for a non-Thai national applicant is available here.

      3. Fee payment. Click here how to pay the processing fee.

      4. The applicant MUST send documents in 1. and 2. with proof of payment (as well as a self-addressed envelope with a prepaid postal fee) directly to the Royal Thai Police by post, or you may request someone to submit the application on your behalf.

       5. The process takes 15 - 25  working days if all required documents are in order, and 
The Police Clearance Certificate will be sent to the applicant by post. Delays may occur if a criminal record is found or required documents are missing.

 

(B) Getting fingerprints at the Royal Thai Embassy in Bern

       1. Fill out the application formtwo (2) forms of taking fingerprints, and a testimony memorandum.

          
2. Arrange supporting documents. A list of required documents for a non-Thai national applicant is available here.

       3. Send documents in 1. and 2. to The Royal Thai Embassy, with full details of contact details. Once the Embassy receives your application and checks all documents, the staff will contact you back to arrange a date/time for the appointment to take the applicant's fingerprints at the Embassy. (Fees are CHF 40 for two forms of taking fingerprints.
