Visit to Geneva Centre for Security Policy by the Ambassador of Thailand

On 17 September 2020, H.E. Mr. Chakri Srichawana, Ambassador of Thailand led a delgation from the Royal Thai Embassy on a study visit to Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) in Geneva to learn more about and explore possibilty for cooperation with the Center.

The embassy's delegation was warmly welcomed by Ambassador Christian Dussey, Director of GCSP, Ms. Christina Orisich, Deputy Director of GCSP, and Dr. Robert Dewar, Head of Cyber Security Section, and received a briefing on the overview of GCSP, which has served as one of the leading Think Tanks in Switzerland on security issues since 1995 . Both sides also discussed ways to establish cooperation between the Embassy and GCSP in the near future.     

Currently, GCSP provides more than 80 training courses a year on issues relating to security to mid-career personnel and executives of civil, military and police organizations, including diplomats from around the world. The Center also regularly organizes activities such as seminars/meetings and in-depth analysis publications on various global security issues.
